Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s early trades, dragged down by the decline of energy and telecom stocks.
The main index sank 0.38% or 17.44 points to reach 4,540.65 points by 10:40 am UAE time.
The energy sector retreated 2.11% after Dana Gas and TAQA levelled down 2.27% and 1.67%, respectively.
The telecom sector lost 0.57% due to a decline in Etisalat by 0.57%. The banks sector also slid 0.33% after National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) tumbled 0.45%.
Turnover amounted to AED 22.56 million after trading 13.81 million shares through 212 transactions.
