Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed gains in Monday’s early trades, amid the growth of blue chips topped by Dana Gas and Aldar Properties.
The general index went up 0.35% or 15.81 points to reach 4,502.09 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The energy sector led gainers with a 1.4% rise, backed by Dana Gas which climbed 7.4%. The real estate sector also advanced 1.08% as Aldar Properties grew 1.7%.
The banks sector levelled up 0.6% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) increased 0.8%. Likewise, the telecom sector grew 0.25% as Etisalat rose 0.25%.
Turnover reached AED 20.42 million after trading 12.58 million shares through 244 transactions.
