Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Tuesday, backed by the rise of seven sectors led by energy and real estate.
The general index added 0.58% or 26.32 points to reach 4,537.60 points.
The energy sector topped gainers with a 12.1% increase as Dana Gas added 15%. The real estate sector also grew 2.42% after RAK Properties went up 6.25%.
On the flipside, the banks sector was the only loser after falling 0.1% as National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) decreased 0.46% and 0.28%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 427.11 million shares on Tuesday, compared to 244.34 million shares on Monday. Turnover amounted to AED 361.89 million, compared to AED 233.66 million.
Dana Gas was the most active stock with a trading volume of 236.6 million shares that generated AED 157 million.
