Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Monday’s early trades, backed by the rise of the energy, real estate, and telecom sectors.
The general index rose 0.09% or 3.96 points to reach 4,569.11 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The market saw the trading of 13.18 million shares through 173 transactions.
Eshraq Properties was the value leader and most active stock with a turnover of AED 5.29 million generated from the exchange of 4.5 million shares.
The energy sector rose 1.74% as Dana Gas advanced 2.22%.
The real estate sector grew 0.43% after RAK Properties and Aldar Properties levelled up 1.33% and 0.43%, respectively.
The telecom sector advanced 0.29% as Etisalat gained 0.29%.
On the flipside, the banks sector fell 0.09% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) slid 1.37% and 0.96%, respectively.
