ADX gains 42 pts on Thursday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) levelled up 0.94% or 42.30 points to stand at 4,542.96 points by the end of Thursday's trading session, maintaining its positive performance on Wednesday, 19 August.

Turnover amounted to AED 491.69 million after 187.27 million shares had been traded through 3,448 transactions.

The real estate sector headed the risers with 5.67%, while the energy segment came on top of the decliners with 0.80%.

 Arkan Building Materials topped the rising stocks with 14.87%, while Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) led the losing stocks with 2.53%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 109.39 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 49.57 million shares.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) led the rising blue chips with 6.48%, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) topped the losing blue chips.
