Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Monday’s trading session up by 0.99% or 50.05 points, closing at the level of 5,091.28 points.
Turnover registered AED 184.66 million after 36.51 million shares were traded through 1,724 transactions.
The bourse’s market cap value hiked by AED 5.27 billion registering AED 520.38 billion from AED 515.11 billion on Sunday.
The real estate sector rose by 2.6%, followed by the telecom sector with 1.22%.
AXA Green Crescent Insurance Company was the top winner with 14.93%, while Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development was the top loser with 10%.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) achieved the highest liquidity of AED 51.93 million, while Aldar Properties led the trading activity through 8.13 million shares.
Blue-chip ADCB and Aldar Properties added 2.79% and 2.69%, respectively.
