ADX gains AED 1.02bn on Tuesday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.13% to close Tuesday's trading session at 4,525.41 points, reversing its negative performance on Tuesday, 31 August.

Turnover amounted to AED 432.44 million after 113.78 million shares had been exchanged through 2,325 transactions.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.02 billion to AED 678.34 billion, compared to AED 677.32 billion during the previous session.

Gulf Cement Co headed the rising stocks with 14.78%, while Umm Al Qaiwain General Investment Co topped the losing stocks with 5%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) posted the highest turnover of AED 118.91 million, while Aldar Properties registered the highest trading volume of 43.15 million shares.

Dana Gas led the rising blue chips with 1.65%, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) came on top of the losing blue chips with 0.31%.
