Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The banks and real estate stocks have pushed up the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) by the end of Thursday’s trading session.
The ADX’s general index went up by 0.40% to 5,073.49 points, gaining 20.20 points.
Trading volume amounted to 37.25 million shares that were exchanged through 1,122 transactions at a turnover of AED 109.64 million.
Most of the listed blue-chip stocks rose today, including First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Aldar Properties, and Waha Capital that added 0.79%, 0.95%, and 3%, respectively.
At the level of sectors performance, the investment sector rose by 1.9%, the banks sector added 0.58%, and the real estate sector increased by 0.89%.
Market capitalisation gained AED 1.457 billion and closed the session at around AED 518.789 billion.
