Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday’s trading session on a positive note.
The ADX’s general index levelled up 19.75 points, or 0.39%, to 5,124.87 points.
Market capitalisation gained AED 1.481 billion and ended the session at AED 526.458 billion.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 51.536 million shares exchanged through 2,204 transactions at a turnover of AED 173.061 million.
The energy sector increased by 1.75% when Dana Gas jumped 2.08%, and the real estate sector rose 1.55% backed by Aldar Properties that went up 1.38%.
Likewise, the banks sector added 0.67% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) rose 0.94%.
On the other hand, the telecommunication went down by 0.71%.
