Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) commenced Wednesday’s trading on a positive note backed by the banks and telecoms sectors.
The general index grew 0.45% or 20.2 points to 4,514.51 points, in line with analysts’ forecasts.
The banks sector increased 0.8% on the back of the National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), which gained 0.9% and 0.4%, respectively.
The telecoms sector and its stock Etisalat added 0.29% each, while the real estate sector levelled up 0.2% as Aldar Properties grew 0.74%.
Turnover reached AED 35.40 million after 20.75 million shares changed hands through 329 transactions.
