Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Tuesday’s trading session in the negative territory.
The general index inched down 8.72 points, or 0.18%, to finish the session at 4,861.68 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 136.22 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 346.62 million through 1,557 transactions.
The services sector topped the decliners falling 2.82% as Abu Dhabi National Hotels plunged 6.3%, while the investment sector went down 2.6% on the back of Waha Capital’s 2.8% drop.
Similarly, the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, went down 0.48% each, followed by the energy and insurance sectors with 0.26% and 0.16%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the transportation sector headed the risers adding 1.33% as Gulf Navigation levelled up 1.33%, while the banks sector inched down 0.10% as Union National Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank grew 0.4% and 0.2%, respectively.
