ADX goes up 0.38% Monday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) main index closed in the green on Monday pushed by the leading sectors, which attracted the investors to the market.

The main index rose 0.38% or 16.83 points to 4,427.34 points.

The real estate sector grew 0.70% after Sharjah Properties, Manazel, RAK Properties, and Aldar added 2.46%, 2%, 1.45%, and 0.87%, respectively.

The telecommunications sector and its stock Etisalat both saw a 0.28% growth.

The banks sector levelled up 0.43% after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went up 0.49%.

Trading volume increased to 88.6 million shares on Monday from 70.5 million shares on Sunday, while trading value rose to AED 110 million from AED 94.6 million.

Dana Gas was the most actively-traded share in terms of both volume and value, with 47.4 million shares, generating AED 34.1 million.
