Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index rose 0.99%, or 43.55 points, to 4,441.99 points on Tuesday.
The ADX’s trading volume more than halved to 97.8 million shares from 239.8 million shares on Thursday, while the market’s liquidity dropped to AED 92.345 million, compared to AED 257.56 million in the previous session.
The real estate sector added 2.11% after Manazel Real Estate surged 7.14%, while Aldar Properties and Eshraq Properties gained 2.27% and 1.41%, respectively.
The banks sector grew 1.66%, as The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went up 2.63% and 1.95%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the energy sector shed 1.42% after Dana Gas lost 2.47%.
