Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index rose by 49.78 points, or 1%, to 5,100.26 points in a week.
Market capitalisation increased by AED 4.97 billion to AED 523.85 billion over the week, compared to AED 518.88 billion in the previous week.
The banking sector added 1%, the real estate sector gained 0.53%, the telecom sector rose by 0.48%, and the energy sector levelled up by 0.9%.
Dana Gas went up by 3.56% and the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank rose by 0.38%.
On the other hand, Taqa plummeted 13.17%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Adnoc Distribution, and Aldar Properties shed 1.28%, 1.04%, 1%, and 0.92%, respectively.
