Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has seen a bearish trend on Sunday amid the recent geopolitical tensions in the region.
The ADX’s general index has closed today’s session down by 70.82 points, or 1.41%, at 4,968.17 points, marking its lowest level in three months.
Market capitalisation lost AED 6.78 million and closed the session at AED 514.152 billion.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 76.225 million shares that were exchanged at a turnover of AED 196.782 million through 1,299 transactions.
All the sectors have fallen as the real estate, the banks, the telecommunication, and the energy sectors dropped by 3.90%, 1.42%, 1.35%, and 1.09%, respectively.
Likewise, all the blue-chip stocks have seen a downturn, headed by Dana Gas’ stock which slipped 2.83%.
Aldar Properties was the most heavily traded stock after seeing a trading volume of 17.719 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 37.56 million.
