Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) continued its bullish performance for the seventh session in a row, backed by a semi-collective rise of stocks amid noticeable active trading.
The general index gained 0.22% or 9.96 points to 4,566.39 points, the highest level since 7 October 2015.
Turnover reached AED 427.25 million ($116.32 million) on Monday, compared to AED 391.35 million ($106.55 million) on Sunday. Trading volume stood at 374.655 million shares, compared to 301.059 million shares.
The energy sector rose 1.11% after Dana Gas gained 1.89%.
The real estate sector added 0.56% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties grew 1.28% and 0.39%, respectively.
The telecom sector increased 0.53% due to a rise in Etisalat by 0.53%.
On the flipside, the banks sector declined 0.19% as First Gulf Bank fell 0.37%.
