Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange started Wednesday on a stronger note backed by the rise of three main sectors.
The main index inched up 0.63 points or 0.01% to 4,356.46 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The industrial sectors led the advancing markets with a 0.5% rise on Fujairah Cement (+10.7%).
The banking sector rose 0.4% after NBA grew 2.39% ahead of the general meeting that will discuss the merger with First Gulf Bank.
The Insurance sector edged up 0.08% as Methaq Insurance was 2.3% higher.
On the flipside, the telecom sector declined 0.55%.
Trading volumes reached 14.6 million shares traded in 119 transactions at AED 16.31 million.
