Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s general index went down by 9.88 points, or 0.19%, to close at 5,144.23 points on Wednesday.
Market capitalisation decreased to AED 524.92 billion on Wednesday, compared to AED 525.96 billion in the previous session.
The real estate sector levelled down by 1.64%, the telecom sector shed 0.24%, and the banking sector inched down 0.02%. The energy sector edged up 0.07%.
Aldar Properties declined by 1.71%, while the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Dana Gas lost 0.51% and 0.11%, respectively. The Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank added 0.75%.
The ADX’s trading volume recorded 26.32 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 75.77 million.
