Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance in Sunday’s early trades, dragged down by the fall of blue chips led by Dana Gas and Etisalat.
The general index retreated 0.36% or 16.59 points to reach 4,600.57 points by 11:20 am UAE time.
The energy sector was the worst performer with a 3.35% decline as Dana Gas sank 4.5%. The banks sector tumbled 0.38% after National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) sank 0.4%.
The telecom sector fell 0.28% due to a decline in Etisalat by 0.28%.
The market saw trading of 20.19 million shares through 371 transactions, with a turnover of AED 34.65 million.
