Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance in Wednesday’s early trades, dragged down by the fall of real estate and energy sectors.
The main index declined 0.47% or 20.97 points to reach 4,448.69 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The real estate sector fell 3.95% as Aldar Properties retreated 5.81%. Similarly, the energy sector levelled down 1.33% as Dana Gas sank 2.33%.
The banks sector tumbled 0.13% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) slid 0.73% and 0.48%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer staples sector rose 0.05%.
First Gulf Bank (FGB) was the value leader after generating AED 25.52 million.
