Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Monday’s trading session with negative performance, hitting the lowest level in 37 sessions, dragged by the fall of the blue chips.
The general index decreased by 0.90%, or 48.23 points, ending the session at 5,332.44 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 282.03 million after 56.9 million shares exchanged hands through 2,919 transactions.
By the end of the session, the ADX’s market capitalisation fell by AED 4 billion, recording AED 538.8 billion.
The energy sector headed the losers falling 2.31% as Dana Gas went down 4.12%, while the real estate sector plunged 1.68% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties retreated 5.09% and 1.61%, respectively.
Similarly, the banks sector levelled down 0.9% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went down 1.20%.
