ADX loses 5.64 pts on Wednesday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged lower by 0.11% or 5.64 points by the end of Wednesday’s trading session, closing the session at the level of 5,069.83 points.

The market cap value went down by AED 408 million, recording AED 518.90 billion.

The energy segment led the fallers with 0.95%, while the telecom segment solely added 0.24%.

Union Insurance Co topped the decliners with 10%, whereas Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) advanced with 14.86%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) achieved the highest liquidity of AED 112.36 million, while Arkan Building Materials Company was the most active stock through the exchange of 20.34 million shares.

Regarding the leading stocks, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) came on top of the losers with 2.18%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) solely increased by 4.41%.
