Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) lost 1% or 50.96 points by the end of Thursday’s trading session, closing at the level of 5,041.73 points.
Meanwhile, the turnover registered AED 199.50 million after 75.39 million shares were traded through 1,575 transactions.
The market cap value plunged by AED 4.93 billion to AED 515.10 billion when compared to AED 520.03 billion a day earlier.
The real estate sector declined by 1.28%, while the energy sector was solely up by 0.43%.
Emirates Investment Bank came on top of the losers with 9.7%, while Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co topped the gainers with 6.58%.
Wahat Al Zaweya Holding saw the highest turnover of AED 82.34 million through the exchange of 33.88 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank’s (ABCB) stock went down by 1.96%, while Dana Gas solely added 0.11%.
