ADX loses 8.6 pts in week; Market cap amounts to AED 516.3bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) declined by 8.6 points, or 1.17%, to 5,036.46 points in a week.

Market capitalisation went down to AED 516.32 billion over the week, compared to AED 516.41 billion in the previous week.

The telecom sector sank 0.12%, while the banking sector slipped 0.05%. Meanwhile, the energy sector added 1.11%.

Sudatel plunged 1.37%, Aldar Properties shed 0.91%, and First Abu Dhabi Bank levelled down by 0.13%.

At the other end of the spectrum, Adnoc Distribution, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank rose by 1.85%, 0.78%, and 0.4%, respectively.
