Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down 0.20% or 8.64 points to stand at 4,267.76 points by the end of Monday's trading session, maintaining its downward performance on Sunday, 14 June.
Around 51.40 million shares were traded through 2,439 transactions at a total value of AED 180.66 million.
The real estate sector headed the decliners with 2.84%, while the telecommunications segment came on top of the risers with 1.59%.
Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) led the red zone with 5%, while Methaq Takaful Insurance topped the green zone with 11.54%.
Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat), up 1.59%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 44.12 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 17.52 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) led the losing blue chips with 3.13%.
