Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) declined by 1.82% or 75.15 points to end Wednesday's trading session at 4,058.95 points, unlike its upward performance on Tuesday, 12 May.
The market cap value decreased by AED 6.37 billion to AED 452.31 billion, compared to AED 458.68 billion during the previous session.
Turnover amounted to AED 140.30 million after around 43.29 million shares had been exchanged through 2,007 transactions.
The banks sector led the decliners with 2.81%.
Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) headed the red zone with 4.98%, while Sudatel Telecom Group led the green zone with 5.84%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 43.46 million, while Aldar Properties, down 0.57%, was the most active stock with 12.14 million shares.
