Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The man index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s trading session 0.27% or 12.26 points lower at 4,596.03 points.
The telecom segment led decliners with 1.34%, dragged by Etisalat’s stock which posted the same fall.
The energy sector retreated by 1.26%, dragged by Dana Gas which fell by 1.52%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped gainers with 1.12%, backed by Aldar Properties which rose by 1.28%.
ADX’s turnover increased to AED 122 million on Thursday from AED 79.04 million in the previous session, after 85.69 million shares were exchanged compared to 60.06 million.
Aldar was the most active stock on which 11.56 million shares were traded at a value of AED 27.4 million.
