Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) gained 1.75% or 79.74 points to reach 4,552.09 points by the end of February.
Liquidity shrank to AED 5.12 billion this month from AED 7.74 billion, as trading volume decreased to 3.013 billion shares from 5.82 billion a month ago.
The banks sector rose by 3.67%, as FGB went up 6.56%, boosting the market’s performance during February.
The telecom sector rose by 2.51%, on the back of the Etisalat stock which levelled up by the same percentage.
Meanwhile, ADX’s energy segment declined by 16.37%, dragged by Dana Gas and TAQA which lost 21.43% and 9.62%, respectively.
The real estate sector also retreated by 4.74%, in line with the 8.40% fall of Aldar Properties.
