Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) gained 2.77% during the week ended 13 July, compared to the previous week ended 6 July.
The telecom segment rose 4.9% in line with Etisalat’s stock which posted the same rise.
The banks sector levelled up 2.40%, after First Abu Dhabi Bank rose 3.94%.
ADX’s real estate segment went up 0.91%, backed by Aldar Properties which gained 0.43%.
Meanwhile, the energy sector posted a weekly decline of 0.89%, dragged by Dana Gas which lost 1.45%, while TAQA levelled up 2%.
The market cap gained about AED 12.5 billion ($3.40 billion) during this week to total AED 436.106 billion ($118.71 billion) this week from AED 423.62 billion ($115.31 billion) in the past week.
