Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has kept its downward performance for the second session in a row after losing 0.63% or 28.91 points to end Wednesday's trading session at 4,529.78 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 340.76 million after 90.75 million shares had been exchanged through 2,348 transactions.
The market cap value decreased by around AED 3.56 billion to AED 676.09 billion, compared to AED 679.65 billion during the previous session.
The real estate segment topped the losers with 3.56%, while the telecommunications sector led the winners with 0.36%.
Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) came on top of the losing stocks with 4.83%, while Methaq Takaful Insurance headed the rising stocks with 3.29%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 83.73 million, while Aldar Properties, down 3.72%, registered the highest trading volume of 39.71 million shares.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) led the rising blue chips with 0.63%.
