Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Monday’s mid-session, backed by the rise of three sectors led by the real estate and telecom.
The general index advanced 0.11% or 4.54 points to reach 4,005.25 points by 12:10 pm UAE time.
Turnover reached AED 94.59 million after 72.63 million shares were traded through 881 transactions.
The real estate sector led gainers after adding 1.61% due to a rise in Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties at 2.17% and 1.82%, respectively.
The telecom sector increased 0.64%, spurred by Etisalat.
The banks sector gained 0.17% as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and First Gulf Bank grew 2.49% and 0.45%, respectively.
On the flipside, the energy sector declined 1.83% after TAQA retreated 8.33%.
