Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Thursday’s early trades in the red, weighed down by the fall of five sectors topped by the telecom and real estate sectors.
The general index fell 0.51% or 22.85 points to reach 4,474.54 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The energy sector topped losers with a 1.4% decline as Dana Gas decreased 1.7%. The telecom sector also slid 1.36% after Etisalat levelled down 1.36%.
The real estate sector declined 0.8% after Aldar Properties slid 1.1%. Similarily, the banks sector tumbled as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) went down 0.5%.
The market saw trading of 7.85 million shares through 101 transactions, with a turnover of AED 7.99 million.
