ADX maintains upward performance on Monday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched up by 0.06% or 3.18 points to 5,093.38 points by the end of Monday’s trading session, maintaining its upward performance on Sunday, 9 February.

A total of 34.15 million shares were exchanged through 1,314 transactions at a value of AED 147.49 million.

 The market cap value rose by AED 610 million to AED 531.69 billion from AED 532.30 billion during the previous session.

As for the sectors, the real estate topped the risers with 1.23%, while the energy segment led the decliners with 1.22%.

Waha Capital topped the winners with 2.73%, while Invest Bank led the losers with 5.56%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 43.98 million, while Aldar Properties, up 1.34%, posted the highest trading volume of 10.34 million shares.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) were the rising blue chips with 0.64% and 0.50%, respectively, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution), Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), and Dana Gas were the losing blue chips with 2.61%, 0.35%, and 0.22%, respectively.
