Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched up by 0.32% or 14.15 points to close Tuesday's trading session at 4,445.48 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 482.11 million after 140.76 million shares had been exchanged through 2,425 transactions.
The market cap value increased by around AED 6.97 billion to AED 677.87 billion, compared to AED 670.90 billion during the previous session.
The real estate sector topped the gainers with 2.5%, while the banks segment headed the decliners with 0.07%.
Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) came on top of the rising stocks with 6.14%, while Gulf Cement Co led the losing stocks with 4.8%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 132.65 million, while Aldar Properties posted the highest trading volume of 54 million shares.
Dana Gas topped the rising blue chips with 1.73%, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) topped the losing blue chips with 0.32%.
