Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The banks and the energy stocks have weighed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in June,
The ADX’s general index inched down 0.5% to 4,979.95 points, losing 23.63 points.
Market capitalisation shed AED 2.56 billion and closed the month at AED 509.280 billion.
Most of the banks stocks fell in June, including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Abu Dhabi First Bank (FAB), which went down by 6.8% and 0.67%, respectively.
Likewise, Adnoc and Dana Gas tumbled 1.4% and 4.6%, respectively, at the end of June.
On the other hand, Etisalat and Aldar Properties jumped by 2.3% and 3.8%, respectively, last month.
