Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday’s trading session with a negative performance, hitting the lowest level in three years, pressured by profit-taking and the drop in global oil prices.
The general index fell 0.41%, ending the first session of the week at 4,977.29 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 28.18 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 64.155 million through 856 transactions.
The sector telecommunication topped decliners with 1.83%, followed by the consumer staples sector with 1.6%.
Similarly, the real estate sector plunged 0.83%.
Meanwhile, the services sector headed gainers after adding 3.37%, followed by the energy sector with 0.61%.
