Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 51.59 points, or 1.12%, to close at 4,668.5 points on Tuesday, recording its fifth successive increase.
The ADX’s trading volume hit 38.58 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 131.32 million.
The real estate sector grew to 2.12% after Aldar Properties rose 2.44%, while the banks sector went up 1.19%, as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) increased by 1.85%.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, added 0.88% each.
Meanwhile, the energy sector gained 0.15% after Taqa rose 0.83%, whereas Julphar surged 6.98% and Bildco soared 4%.
