Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index jumped 2.19% or 108.076 points to close at 5,028.75 points in the week ended Thursday, 8 November, marking the strongest weekly gains in over three months.
A total of 298.923 million shares changed hands during the week, at a total value of AED 667.890 million.
The market capitalisation added AED 9.6 billion to close at AED 504.089 billion, compared to AED 494.476 billion last week.
The banks sector rose 2.99%, while the real estate sector registered a 2.31% increase and the telecom sector gained 0.58%.
The investment sector was up 5.5%.
In contrast, the energy sector fell 0.33%.
