Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) main index closed in the green zone on Tuesday, pushed by blue chips to register its third increase in a week.
The main index grew 0.48% or 21.39 points to close at 4,472.04 points.
The real estate sector added 0.54% after Manazel, RAK properties, and Aldar Properties gained 5.36%, 1.39%, and 0.85%, respectively.
The banks sector went up 0.51% on the back of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) which rose 0.49%.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock Etisalat grew 0.28% each.
The trading value shrank to reach AED 198.5 million through 1,748 transactions on Tuesday, compared to AED 200.69 million on Monday.
The trading volume decreased to 169.1 million shares from 217.8 million.
Manazel was the most active stock at the ADX with 57.7 million traded shares, while Dana Gas topped the market in terms of liquidity, with a turnover of AED 35.8 million.
