Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Sunday’s trading falling 0.11% or 4.8 points to the level of 4,522.24 points.
Trading volume reached 9.39 million shares exchanged by 11:10 AM UAE time through 210 transactions, making a turnover of AED 18.75 million.
The energy sector was the worst performer after dropping by 1.14% as Taqa topped losers with a 5.6% decrease.
The banks sector also slid by 0.05%, pressured by the drop in National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank by 0.95% and 0.79% respectively. The telecom sector shrank 0.25%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods and real estate sectors rose by 0.91% and 0.51% respectively.
Al Khazna Insurance Company led gainers by adding 4.9%.
Eshraq Properties was the largest-traded stock after making a trading volume of 1.91 million shares, while Manazel Real Estate made the highest liquidity of AED 216,000.
