Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades, dragged down by the fall of five sectors led by the telecom and real estate.
The main index slid 0.43% or 20.18 points to reach 4,648.13 points by 10:10am UAE time.
The telecom sector led losers after falling 1.06% due to a decline in Etisalat by 1.06%.
The real estate sector tumbled 0.9% as RAK Properties and Aldar Properties decreased 1.45% and 1.12% respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer staples sector went up 0.34% as Asmak gained 14.4%.
A total of 20.33 million shares were traded through 230 transactions, with a turnover of AED 39.16 million.
