Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed gains in Monday’s early trades, spurred by the rise of five sectors topped by energy and telecom.
The main index added 0.44% or 19.1 points to reach 4,468.77 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The energy sector rose 4.1% as TAQA and Dana Gas levelled up 9.6% and 5.9%, respectively.
The telecom sector grew 1.12% after Etisalat increased 1.12%.
The real estate sector levelled up 0.10% due to a rise in Aldar Properties of 0.9%.
The banks sector grew 0.1% after National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) climbed 15%.
The market saw trading of 42.5 million shares through 430 transactions, with a turnover of AED 37.98 million.
