Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 0.25% or 11.09 points to reach 4.447.91 points by 10:35am UAE time on Sunday.
The telecom segment topped the gainers with 0.55% in line with the rise of Etisalat which gained 0.55%.
The banks sector inched up by 0.4% as First Gulf Bank grew by 0.8%.
Meanwhile, the energy sector was the top decliner with a fall of 1.17%, on the back of TAQA which gained 5.5%.
ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 47.43 million after 66.47 million shares were exchanged through 278 transactions.
