Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) commenced Sunday’s trading session on a positive note, backed by stocks in the real estate sector.
By 11:15 am UAE time, the general index gained 0.46% or 23.01 points, reaching 4,985.38 points.
In the meantime, turnover amounted to AED 47.928 million after 6.193 million shares changed hands through 359 transactions.
The real estate sector, which helped support the general index, added 1.74% after Aldar Properties and Eshraq Properties increased 1.94% and 1.63%, respectively.
The telecom sector was the sole decliner on the ADX on Sunday, losing 0.35% along with its only stock Etisalat.
Etisalat was the value leader with AED 21.85 million in turnover after 1.285 million shares were exchanged.
