Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s early trades, backed by the rise of energy and telecom stocks.
The general index went up 0.23% or 10.49 points to reach 4,607.18 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The energy sector rose 1.63% as Dana Gas grew 2.08%. The telecom sector added 0.8% after Etisalat grew 0.8%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector led losers with a 0.35% decline after Manazel Real Estate sank 1.5%.
The market saw trading of 16.89 million shares through 263 transactions, with a turnover of AED 24.77 million.
Aldar Properties, which sank 0.8%, was the value leader with a turnover of AED 11.35 million generated from the exchange of 4.6 million shares.
