Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) suffered losses in Thursday’s early trades, dragged down by the fall of five sector topped by the energy and banks sectors.
The general index slid 0.53% or 24.38 points to stand at 4,502.38 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The energy sector was the worst performer with a 1.49% decline as Dana Gas levelled down 1.85%.
The banks sector tumbled 0.98% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) sank 1.54%.
The real estate sector lost 0.30% due to a decline in Aldar Properties by 0.40%.
On the other hand, the investment sector topped gainers with a 2.15% rise as Waha Capital climbed 2.3%.
Turnover amounted to AED 72.02 million after trading 48.52 million shares through 568 transactions.
