Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance in Wednesday’s early trades, pressured by the decline of blue chips led by TAQA and Etisalat.
The general index declined 0.6% or 26.45 points to reach 4,563.86 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The energy sector was the worst performer after falling 2.3% as TAQA and Dana Gas sank 4% and 1.9% respectively. The telecom sector decreased 0.8% after Etisalat tumbled 0.8%.
The real estate sector declined 0.66% as Aldar Properties slid 0.38%. The banks sector fell 0.5% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) went down 0.38%.
Turnover reached AED 54.76 million after trading of 50.43 million shares through 598 transactions.
