Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) initiated the mid-week trading session on a lower note.
By 10:25am UAE time, the main index lost 17.94 points, or 0.40%, to settle at 4,474.28 points.
The banking sector led the losers with a 0.6% slide weakened by the First Gulf Bank (-1.26%).
The real estate sector fell by 0.5%, battered by the 0.73% fall of Al Dar National Real Estate.
Likewise, the telecom sector was battered by Etisalat after both registered a 0.3% decrease.
Trading volume reached 14.49 million shares traded in 117 transactions at AED 11.02 million.
