Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Wednesday, backed by the rise of telecom and banks sectors.
The general index rose 1.11% or 50.73 points to reach 4,602.82 point by 11:55am UAE time.
The telecom sector added 2.3% as Etisalat climbed 2.3%. The banks sector also increased 1% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) levelled up 1.5%.
The real estate sector grew 0.7% after Aldar Properties went up 0.8%.
The market saw the trading of 15.03 million shares through 279 transactions, with a turnover of AED 31.04 million.
Eshraq Properties, which advanced 0.85%, was the value leader after generating AED 7.02 million from the exchange of 5.96 million shares.
