Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed gains in Wednesday’s early trades.
The general index went up 0.28% or 12.5 points to 4,483.61 points by 11:22 am UAE time.
The energy sector added 3.09% after Dana Gas and TAQA went up 3.39% and 1.85%, respectively.
The banks sector rose 0.35% after Abu Dhab Islamic Bank (ADIB), Sharjah Islamic Bank, Bank of Sharjah, and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) increased 1.67%, 1.47%, 0.84%, and 0.48%, respectively.
The telecom sector added 0.28% after Etisalat grew 0.28%. The real estate sector also advanced 0.13% as Eshraq Properties gained 1.22%.
Turnover amounted to AED 181.99 million after trading 68.77 million shares through 465 transactions.
